I'm so excited for Christmas. If it was Christmas I would go downstairs and open all my presents and scream because I got what I wanted.

In the mail I got a credit card offer. And I'm only six years old. Why would they give you a credit card offer if you're only in first grade?

it snowed today

Today it snowed and it's only fall!!!!! It's also my dad's birthday today. He was shocked that it snowed on his birthday. Right now we just had a snowball fight and it was really windy.

I had a lemonade stand

Today I had a lemonade stand. I got a few customers. I was selling cookies, too, vanilla wafers and Oreos. I made a lot of money. At first I didn't have that much business, but I got more business later.

My Dad and the Porkchop

I Was In a Watermelon Eating Contest

Yesterday I was in a watermelon eating contest. I got third place. The third prize is a dollar. I got a dollar. It was in this city called Lake Linden. I had the biggest piece because I was really hungry. The tried to give me a littler one but I didn't let them.

Fathers Day

Today was Fathers Day. Fathers day was fun. We went to the beach and we went in Michigan to Copper Harbor. Copper Harbor is a city in Michigan. We had lunch out at the Tamarack Inn.

Yesterday I Was Sick

Yesterday I was sick. I had a fever. I didn't feel that well. I had to stay home from school. I had to rest up for my concert so I wasn't sick at my concert. I feel better today.

I turned 6 on May 20th. My birthday was fun. I had breakfast in bed. I had cinnamon rolls, bacon, raspberries, and juice. It was the best birthday ever! I took cupcakes to school.

Crazy Hair Day

Yesterday was crazy hair day at my school. I dyed my hair pink and purple and put pigtails in. It was fun. My friend Truman didn't have any crazy hair, so my teacher put a teeny-weeny ponytail in his hair sticking up.

Sleeping In a Garage

Our neighbor across the street slept in his garage. The house got damaged. He was cold. We called the police and an ambulance and a fire truck came. They took him to the hospital.

Easter

On Sunday it is Easter and I can't wait! I can't wait to see what's in my basket on Easter morning. I have pretty Easter shoes and a pretty Easter dress. There are three egg hunts I am going to go to.

Our Trip to Michigan

I took a trip to Michigan. It was fun. I love love loved it. I loved the swimming pool. I wrote a story in the car. We were looking at houses. We were going to live on a hobby farm. The hobby farm was beautiful. There was a really nice house on Agate Street in Houghton, Michigan.

My Sad Day

Today I had a sad day. You know why? Because I spilled my root beer float, and we had car races in my class and I lost the car races.

Another violin recital

Today I had a recital. I sang a song. There were many singers. I played with my friend Eleanor. I wasn't expecting her to come. I played with her for a little while.

Read-a-thon Prizes

Yesterday I got prizes from the read-a-thon. I got a t-shirt, a coupon from Famous Dave's, a bowling card, a java buck from Java Jack's, a pencil, and two fruit leathers, but I ate both of them. And Claudia, who wasn't expecting a bike (she wanted an ipod), but she won a bike!

Carling's BIrthday Party

Tomorrow is Carling's birthday party. Carling is my friend. We are not giving her a present. We are giving her a wrapped book because there is a book exchange.

Closing Ceremony for the Read-a-thon

The closing ceremony for the read-a-thon at my school is coming soon. If the whole school reads 1.5 million minutes, then at the closing ceremony our principal will fly on a broomstick. If I turn my calendar in, I will get some prizes. If my whole class does, we get a rootbeer float party. And I turned my calendar in. Ha, ha, ha!

Spring Picture Day

Today is spring picture day at school. I'm so excited! It's going to be so fun. I curled my hair by putting water on it. I'm wearing leggings, a flower dress, and white socks. I'm going to bring my smile with me.

We Are Moving

We are moving in June. Before we move we will have fun two weeks. We're gonna go bowling and to the Twins and go on rides at the Mall of America and go shopping and things like that.

I Got the Stomach Cramps

I got the stomach cramps. I stayed home today. Me and my mom went to the coffee shop. There's this funny book there. It was called The Penguin Max. It's about a funny hamster. It was a comic book. You should read it! :D

I Got Punched in the Nose

Yesterday I got punched in the nose on the bus. I got a nose bleed. Somebody was goofing around and they accidentally punched me in the nose. I went to the nurse's office at school. It wasn't very fun.

I Had a Fever Yesterday

Yesterday I had a fever. I rested. I watched TV. I feel better today. I didn't like being sick. I had three pills and we ran out of the kid's tylenol. But my dad got more.

A Pizza Party for my Class

Today there's a pizza party at Punch Pizza. Some of my friends in my class are going to be there. I get to see my old teacher, and I think I'll see my new teacher. My old teacher had a baby, and his name is Nolan. I think Nolan is going to be at the pizza party.

Another Violin Recital

Today I had a violin recital. One of my friends in my class their whole family was there and three of them stayed and the dad drove away so they had to call the dad. I sprained my arm. It still hurts a little. Me and my friend were walking on chairs and I fell down and sprained my arm.
